Each application is review holistically, taking into consideration the applicant's background and life experiences. Applicants with a BCPM GPA <3.2 are considered to be at high risk for failing academically. This can be overcome by an excellent post-bacc or graduate school GPA.

If a pre-medical advisory committee letter is not available, a minimum of three letters are required. Included in these three letters, we require at least 1 letter from a science professor and 1 letter from a non-science professor, from whom the applicant has taken courses. Beyond these 3 letters, additional letters can come from employers, shadowed physicians, service activity supervisors, and research investigators with whom the applicant has worked.
