The Admissions Committee at WSUSOM requires a minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation with your secondary application. All letters of recommendation must adhere to AAMC AMCAS letter of recommendation guidelines and letter service must be used: Section 6 of the AMCAS® Application: Letters of Evaluation | Students & Residents (aamc.org) You may submit a statement from the pre-medical advisory committee at your college or university, or a minimum of three letters of recommendation — with at least two from faculty members, can be Principal Investigator (PI). One letter must have been written within the past 12 months. Letters more than three (3) years old will not be considered. Signature and letterhead is preferred. M.D./Ph.d program applications must submit a letter from a researcher. Applicants with a Post-baccalaureate or graduate GPA are required to submit at least one letter from their program.
