Held on Fridays. One interview with two interviewers: one who is on the Admissions Committee and one who is blinded to application materials, in addition to casual encounters with CMSRU students.

Interview Day Overview

Our interview day has been designed to provide each candidate the opportunity to engage with CMSRU faculty and students. Throughout the day applicants interact with current students, and the finale provides a comfortable, casual meet-and-greet so that candidates can ask questions in a low-pressure and open atmosphere. The interview day program includes: A virtual log-in and opportunity to meet the admissions staff. A live orientation and welcome with our Dean, Dr. Annette Reboli. A live question-and-answer session with the Office of Admissions leadership team. A live interview, lasting approximately 30 minutes. Live, informal meet-and-greet and question-and-answer sessions with our current students. Available in advance are recorded presentations about our innovative curriculum, student support services, our simulation center and our three-year primary care track. A virtual tour of our medical school building is also available.

Interview Invite Timeline

Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
