Real-time video interviews using a videoconference platform. Interviews are 25 minutes in length and conversational in nature with a one-on-one format. Interviewers are conducted with physicians or faculty.

Interview Day Overview

All interviews are conducted in videoconference format. Interviews are 25 minutes in length and candidates should plan on connecting 10 minutes prior to their interview times. Interview are by invitation only through the AMCAS application gateway and e-mail from AMCAS. Candidates are responsible for ensuring their e-mail provider accepts incoming e-mail from AMCAS. Professional interview attire is suggested. A reliable connection should be used. Interviews are conversational in nature and intended as friendly exchanges to meet one another and determine if there is a good fit between candidates and NEOMED. Candidate questions are encouraged.

Interview Invite Timeline

Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
