Interview Day Overview

Interview days include interviews and interactions with faculty members and medical students. They also include information sessions, a virtual tour, and interactive activities. Interview days at our school are full day events that also allow interviewees to get to know us and to get a feel for our student body, community, and educational environment. All of our interviewers have participated in implicit bias training. Opportunities to attend periodic online "meet & greets" with our student groups (SNMA/LMSA, LGBTQ+, First Gen, and Parents & Partners) are available to interviewees. Additionally, our medical students host "You Do IQ" sessions to give interviewees an opportunity to get a taste of how small group learning works in the University Program.

Interview Invite Timeline

Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
