Applicants selected to interview for the MD/PhD program are conducted over two days. MD/PhD applicants interview virtually for the PhD program on Wednesdays the day prior to interviews for the MD program on Thursdays. Interview days include presentations, medical student panels, journal club sessions. Virtual tours are also given of the Gross Anatomy lab, educational facilities, and teaching hospitals. EnMed applicants interview live on Mondays on the Houston Methodist campus. Applicants will NOT be considered for interview until the primary and secondary applications and supplemental documents are completed AND submitted and the $60 application fee is received.

Interview Invite Timeline

Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
