Interview Day Overview

Interview sessions will be held virtually via ZOOM. Each applicant will receive two 30-minute virtual live traditional interviews with two faculty members or 1 faculty member and 1 student/resident/fellow member of the Admissions Interviewing Subcommittee. Interviews will be held Friday afternoons. The Admissions Deans will welcome the applicants and then turn it over to current BCM students who will explain the agenda for the day. The session will close with the Admissions Deans saying a few words, a live student panel for Q&A, and then an optional 'Life in Houston' live presentation. The Thursday evening before every interview session, a virtual student social will be held for all interviewees.

Interview Invite Timeline

Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
