A minimum of 3 letters must be submitted and received by the AMCAS Letter Service in order for applicants to receive a secondary application. Applicants are encouraged to request letters from those who know them well, who can speak to their abilities and experiences (academic and otherwise – leadership, service, personal growth, etc.), and can write a strong letter. Possible letter writers may include supervisors, mentors, professors, community leaders, or those who may have supervised or assisted with a long-term or most meaningful experience.
