Virtual Interviews via Zoom
Applicants must have completed the AAMC PREview Exam in order to be eligible for an interview invitation. On interview day, applicants will participate in virtual interviews using the Zoom platform. Interviewees will participate in Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) and two traditional interviews. Then, applicants will attend a virtual panel discussion with current medical students. Applicants will close out the day with a session led by the Associate Dean of Admissions to share more about the SFESOM.
Most schools begin sending invitations September–October on a rolling basis. Earlier is better — submit your primary early. Schools with rolling admissions fill seats throughout the cycle, so late applicants face a more competitive pool for fewer spots.
